I’ve been enjoying your blog, Kelly. We are getting more involved in Church and I started RCIA classes last month. I got my own Bible and I looked up the passage you wrote about here. Its beautiful…thank you for bringing it to me. We too, are going through financial struggles and I thank God everyday that we have our health, jobs, food and our home. Thank you again, Angela

Andrea –

I know what you mean, girl. I tend to be a very independent person. I like being “in charge” and “in control”, so it really is hard to let go. It seems like the harder I try to fix this financial mess, the worse it gets. All along I should have been fully trusting God, but instead I was talking to Him in prayer, but still keeping my fist tightly clinched around my own worry and doubt. I have to let it all go. It’s hard, but I have to. So, I am right there with you, sister. ((HUGS)) to you too. We’ll get through this. I know because God promised and I believe it.

Thank you for posting this Kelly. We’re going through some of the same difficulties financially and sometimes it’s so hard to let go of the worry and trust in God. I’m the type who likes to be in control of everything in my life, and I have to work really hard to remember to put my faith in the higher power and trust everything will work out. Big hugs!
